A recent interview by FOX 6 with Danny Gokey Revealed some rather interesting new information. The video can be viewed Here.

When Danny was asked about the “Sympathy Vote” he said that he has overcome a lot of poisonous emotions and has emerged from these feelings with hope. He says that he also wants to give others hope. Danny States that he would rather loose Idol and succeed as a musician than to win Idol and fail.

Strong words from Danny. So all of you people out there making claims that Danny is just using his wife to gain attention should know that his heart is sincere and his intentions are pure.

Danny is a Christian and as a Christian myself I can see the faith that he has inside of him. The strength that God has given him to help heal and move on in his life is evident and more than obvious.

The Lord has blessed me in so many ways. I can’t even begin to explain how God has changed my life. I pray for you and your success Danny.
